Harvesting our honey!

The bee team had great fun last night harvesting the honey from 2 supers. For some of us it was the first time spinning honey. Student bee keepers like me (Kate) learnt about why the bee caps honey comb, how to uncap the comb, how to spin and, as always, some fascinating information about bee life. We estimated 30 pounds was collected and I can’t wait I to taste it.
