Nanny Goat Ava

Our lovely goat kids are now four weeks old and the Growers Goat Family are all getting along swimmingly. In fact, Ava who is our matriarch goat but didn’t kid this year, is doing her part to help feed the kids. Here she is feeding Daisy, Blossom’s kid. I didn’t know goats did this but it means our worries about Ava feeling left out were unfounded.

Our goat kids have now been named, Daisy and Dock. We are delighted that Dock is heading off to Yorkley Farm Court when he is 12 weeks old. There are two lovely nanny goats waiting for him. Daisy will be for sale when weaned.
