Soay lambs arrive safely

25th June 2014: Our first Soay lambs arrived safely, one female chocolate coloured lamb to our young chocolate ewe, (born last Friday), and twins, one chocolate male and a caramel female to our older ewe. Born Sunday morning. All are healthy and already bouncing around. Our Soay sheep do a great job of helping to maintain the land and will assist us to bring the wild flower meadow back to it’s full beauty. They are a semi-wild breed, very goat like, and fit in well with out other animals.
