Bees – 28-8-2021

We have three supers, 30 frames, of honey, to harvest. Should weigh in at about 60 pounds. Thank you for the offers to host the honey extraction, I decided that for reasons of convenience the sticky kitchen award goes to Mark and Beki. So next Saturday at 5 in the afternoon we meet at Prospect House. The more of you who can join us the easier and quicker it will be to get the honey from frames into jars. With say 6 of us minimum it should take is a couple of hours. There will be a bee session in the apiary next Wednesday evening at 5:15. We will remove the supers to Beki’s and once the supers are off give these hives an inspection to make sure all is well since they have not been looked at while the honey flow was in progress.
